A buddy of mine started up a new Bills blog.

I thought his first entry was worth mentioning here as he broke down Poz's value using some advanced metrics from Football Outsiders and pro-football-reference.com.

Interesting stuff if your into the advanced sabermetric type stats. Based on this information it would look like the Jaguars really overpaid.

No, no payment or arrangement for anything other than helping him get the word out about his blog.

We actually tend to disagree about player performance most of the time. I was probably one of the people he mentioned in the Poz article because I always complained about his lack of ability around the LOS.

Either way I just thought it was a good use of the sabermetric style football stats.

If anyone is interested in seeing the same type of evaluation on Whitner I believe he will have something up in the next day or two.

Interesting stuff if your into the advanced sabermetric type stats. Based on this information it would look like the Jaguars really overpaid. I was a Poz fan while he was here, but he isn't. So now I could care less about his value. It no longer matters. He is no longer part of the equation. Any numbers that have to do with him and Buffalo are void of significance. JMO
