You're supposed to say something like "Damn, I may have to use all my remaining cap on her" to try to bump up other peoples' bids. Even if you can't bid or don't have any cap left, many people don't pay attention and you'd be surprised how many fall for it.

IMO, $75k is a bit high (as the second highest bidder only bid $56k, meaning you could have had her a lot cheaper) but there have been worse purchases.
