Just got in from camp.........

In ROC for a few weeks as my father is ill. Went to camp tonight with a college buddy and had fun catching up. Good lord it is a snooze fest out there. They better pick it up if they want to compete with anyone when the season opens. This makes Camp Jauron look like Seal Training Hell Week. They were in full pads and the hitting was minimal and very restrained.

I am disgusted with this new CBA and all the candy azz concessions the owners made to the players . I think there are going to be a lot more injuries once the bullets fly for real. Tiddlywinks.

Yea thats how it was when I went to Bucs camp this week.........

IDK man I heard the opposite from a lot of people there. They said it was nothing like a Jauron camp.

usually the night practices are more entertaining but day ones can be boring

i go knowing that but like to see the young players a little bit....what do you think it was gonna be 11 v 11 full tackle its a ****ing practice

They have been in camp for what? A week? I would let them shake the rust off first before calling camp ***** tits camp. Lets see how it is by the end of next week.

Dude, it wasn't that bad. Lack of hitting, yes, but you have to realize it's like the 4th practice of the season.

Some thoughts-

1. Steve Johnson was awesome.
2. Buster Davis wore 88, not 85 like Bills tweet said.
3. Fitzpatrick was pretty good.
4. Tyler Thigpen was awful. Terrible, maybe even worse then Levi Brown, who also was bad.
5. Johnny White has a nice burst.
6. Spiller looked excellent.
7. McKelvin played solid coverage on Lee Evans in drills.
8. Brad Smith only played QB.
9. Josh Nesbitt played QB (was awful) and returned kickoffs
10. Merriman got poped by Chandler, and soon there after he was out for rest of practice. Not sure if that hit was the cause of his injury?
11. McGee was limping and was getting treatment from trainer on sideline for rest 30 min of practice, but walked off own power, with a slight limp.
12. Donald Jones played pretty well, had some nice catches.
13. First team DL was.... Edwards/Williams/Dareus
14. First team ILB were Torbor and Barnett.
15. Barnett is a beast.

Ive gone to camp for years, its never really been "exciting"...sometimes theyd do 7 on 7s and thats about as exciting as it would get. For the most part its fundemental drills
