Gotta agree with Mski on Rosie... While she might be a better deal than some of the other cards, when you spend over 1/3 of your cap on one card, I can't call it a steal. another factor:

You could have paid less than half and still won her... Now, $35K would be a steal...

As for Aguilera, gotta go with TD... As I said before, if you're getting a card that cheap, it's almost gotta be considered a steal. As a matter of fact, I personally PM'd a very low bid, as I wasn't sure if it was a blind auction, or forum auction... I saw everyone in the thread bidding, so threw a very low blind bid, as I figured I'd be the only one, just in case... In retrospect, I would have bid $20k on Aguilera and would have considered her a steal at that price. Even with the weight gain, it's not like she weighs 250 pounds...

If I knew I could have got her for $30,690 I would have lowered my bid. It was my first time bidding in a flash auction. Now I know they can go cheap.

The above statement I agree with.

IMO, a "steal" is a card that you got at a cheap enough value, that pretty much anyone would be wiling to take the cap hit in order to have the card at that price. Again, when counting "steals," I don't count the first five cards, because they were won under different circumstances and really weren't available to everyone.

I'm not saying Rosie's price is BAD, per se... Especially considering some of the others you mentioned. I just don't see her as a huge steal, either.

I'm just thinking, if you lined all of the cards up, most would consider 5 other cards to be better steals, especially price-wise, before they'd take Rosie.

Heather Graham is the biggest steal of the game so far.

But, as I said, I can't count her... She was auctioned off in the "beta" period... meaning, a lot less people had a shot at her and, I believe they were working with different cap rules, thus skewing her value down.

That's the reason I said I wasn't personally counting the first five, when it came to steals.

To be fair, I personally can't count these as "bad deals," as both of them were put up for Free Agency and were sold for a lower value. I can only count the current face value for the card, as that's how much it's affecting someone's cap. Just my opinion.
