The ILB starters I saw at Thursday's practice were Barnett and Torbor

From what I have gathered, it has been Barnett and Torbor a bunch because they have been running their nickle defense. In those situations Davis is off the field. In their base 3-4 package it will be Barnett and Davis.

For some reason they have been almost running exclusively nickle in training camp, making Torbor seem like the starter.

i just dont think davis makes the team. they wont cut a promising young player like white and shepp will be better imo starting in the base... jmo

plus torbor has more versatility. im telling you once shepp starts thumping people he will start in the base, and the nickel
