I signed up for Twitter to find feeds for Sabres games. As long as I had the account, I figured I might as well poke around and try to see what it was about. Basically, it confirmed all the stereotypes I had about it before I actually used it.

I haven't logged in since hockey season ended, and I won't log in again until hockey season starts.

Im on the evo ap for twitter and whenever i look up #billsmafia or #billsnation it just shows me tweets with the names in it or the people following. How do i actually "follow"? I managed to get the logo on my pic but im still not a follower.

twitter also made the trade deadline very interesting if you followed reporters you trusted. Darren Dregger had timely info the whole time.

i still don't get all the lingo or why i need to be restricted to 141 characters and why everything people share is a truncated link which looks like it could send me to a very undesirable website, yet most of the info is pretty funny.

That is the beauty of me.... I am a walking contradiction!!! I would follow Billsmafia, and have. But, it just clutters up my timeline so it had to go. There are only a hand full of people I even follow that are not connected some how to a sports news entity, or the Bills organization itself.

I consider my timeline important for gathering every up to the minute news update about the Bills that Twitter allows me to get. It's challenging enough without getting a dozen or more #Followthisperson tweets every 20 minutes. I don't mean to get offensive here, but I don't live in Buffalo, so I get my Bills news any way I can. It forces me to restrict who I follow on twitter, and who I don't. JMO
