    Predictions for Bears-Bills

Getting away from the Evans trade talk, let's have a little fun and predict some meaningless happenings in a meaningless game.

I think Ryan Fitzpatrick will play a few drives and throw 8-12 for 113 yards.

I predict that Spiller and Easley get touchdowns.

    Spiller flashes patience and development.

I predict that Thigpen and/or Levi Brown throw an interception.

I predict MAYBIN gets a sack (meaningless) and does the lights out dance which angers Merriman.

Merriman drop kicks Maybin for being disrespectful.

I predict that Barnett and Smith perform well.

Moats gets a sack or forced fumble or big hit that causes half the board to orgasm.

David Nelson or Donald Jones are the leading receivers (yard and catch wise) by the end of the game.

    Your turn.

I predict the starters are all pulled by halfway through the first quarter, the offenses are sloppy as hell and the entire game is extremely boring.

Not that it matters to me- I'm out of market and I just moved and haven't been able to get TV hooked up yet.

You can get every game of the pre-season live (or anytime after) on NFL.com for $19.99. It's pretty cool. You can view a single game, two games or multiple games at the same time.

                I predict a vanilla offense.

What about my post constitutes an overreaction? Historically (and the games played in Thursday night as well), most initial pre-season games follow a predictable pattern where the starters play a series or two, second string comes in for a few series and then the bottom of the roster takes over.

I'll be in Vegas betting on the game. It's the only way to make everything past the first half of the first quarter exciting.
