Kellys:

1. Lindell. Nice 44 yard boot off a very torn up field.
2. Darius looks to be the real deal. Quick for a big man.
3. Merriman plays linebacker like we have not seen since the Bills threw Darryl Talley in the trash can. (a prevailing theme year after year!)



Ferragamos:

1. Aaron Maybin deserves an Oscar for his magnificent imitation of a ragdoll.
2. The whole offense looked like garbage except for 35 who ran hard.
3. Kick returns are going to kill us this year.
4. Thigpen looks terrible. Why was he rolling away from his passing arm side on every play?

Kellys: Brad Smith looks like a great signing he was used MANY different ways.

Ferragamos: The OL needs work.

Kelly - Scott Chandler - If not for a semi-poor pass by Fitz, the kid would've had three receptions in the first two drives. Who says Gailey doesn't like TE's?

Ferragamo - Urbik/Wrotto/Howard - You guys CAN NOT get blown up at the point of attack that badly. Get your heads out of your asses.

I noticed one thing about the kick return team. 8 out of 11 guys won't be in uniform Sept. 11th.


Pros -

Jasper has no idea what he's doing but still pushes 2 guys 5 yards into the backfield like human blocking sleds. If he ever learns a swim move, he will dominate.

Dareus is for real.

Dwan Edwards looked good.

Kyle Williams looked REALLY good.

Merriman is 23 years old again.

Barnett is twice as good as Poz.

Carrington looks like the weight he put on is all muscle and can really rush the passer.

WR's & TE's are talented but need a QB who can deliver them the ball properly.

We run the Wildcat formation to perfection.

Concerns-

QB - Anyone who thinks we should hurry and extend Fitz is high. Thigpen is even worse. QB & OT should be our top priorities next year.

Need to keep a safety near the LOS to prevent QB scrambles & draws.

Urbik may not be our starting G next to Wood. Really struggled.

I thought Fitz played rather well last night, as did the first team O. Urbik holds the block and CJ gets the first down, and maybe a touchdown.

I have no worries about Fitz

I have a lot of worries if he gets hurt.

Fitz is very methodical.

What he lacks in physical gifts he makes up with pretty good decision making. (Sort of the anti-Losman)

I like his honesty, and his "calmness" in the huddle and on the sidelines.

It's his team, and rightly so.

But like everyone else, pray he doesn't get injured.
