BZ Comics: Episode 10 - Day Off

I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

I liked it, and laughed at the size difference between Troup and Parrish.

        Where's Troup's "club"?

Sorry King, you missed the mark with this one. It would have been funny if there were any truth to it, but the fact is Nix & Gailey have both said Maybin is a hard worker & even puts in extra work. His problem is he is too damn small.

yeah. Who would have thought that 225 is too small to play DE/OLB in the NFL.

Oh, right... everyone except Dick Jauron and Russ Brandon.

Funny that the clock reads 2 o'clock in the last picture... Maybin got cut today before 2 PM... No 2 1/2 men for him... He's busy cleaning out his locker.

In light of what happened today, it would have been funnier if McCargo had been told to go watch TV and in the room was Maybin watching "The Blind Side". But it was still funny.
