    1st blog about LG Change

It's about competition. Gotta love Chan if it is true.

Have been waiting for this to happen for some time now. Levitre has been a weak link in the run game. He is a technician for sure but he does not fit the scheme that Nix likes and the type of OL that Nix likes for a power run game.

When we were doing all that zone stuff Levitre was a fit due to his mobility but now he is losing out to Rinehart who has about 40 pounds on him or so?

This should help the run I think.

Competition my ass. Start Carrington over Kelsay for some competition. God forbid bring in someone not on the waiver wire for a change.

I don't understand this move at all, unless they are moving Levitre to RG...he makes more sense there, because it will help give Pears a solid vet to work next to.

And if Gailey wants to keep citing competition...why the **** does Kelsay continue to get the starting reps? Bench his ass! Move him to the backup unit.

Could happen, imo. There is no way Carrington would start before Kelsay last year.

Still, we'll see how Kelsay has done after a year being an OLB. Coverage is a real issue for him and I'd think for Carrington, too.

Football is a real issue for Kelsay.

To be fair and to the point of this thread though, I did think Rinehart looked solid last year in his brief stint at RG. However, I would like to see him split the time with Urbik instead of Levitre.

Can it be? Another missed first or second round pick within the past three years?

hopefully this experiment ended after today. The left side looked horrible. Kyle Williams made Rinehart his *****!

What annoys me the most....Urbik has been terrible at camp and looked horrid on Saturday...why not give him the competition? Rinehart might be a good RG, at least better than Urbik....So...WTF!

Has Urbik really been that bad? How was he in the preseason game?

Urbik just looks out of place right now. It could be because he has Pears next to him...but I've seen him get blown up several times at camp.

Hopefully it lights a fire under Levitres ass, as well as gets Rinehart confidence and in the mix with the starters where he can take over at RG.

by who, Dareus? If that's the case I can't blame him.

I think you nailed it. It's shaking up everyone and letting them know no one should be taking their starting spot for granted.

I bet he starts messing with some D players soon. Kelsay anyone ?

I don't know this is a Levitre bust case. It just looks like someone else is improving to the point of being better now.

Say Rinehart took the job away from Levitre, I bet teams would beat on the doors for Levitre's service.
