Potential Bills buyer when Ralph Passes

"Bills owner Ralph Wilson, 92, has no plans to sell his team while he’s still alive, but potential buyers are lining up for the day the team does become available. Toronto, where Buffalo has played a regular-season game every year since 2008, remains a logical destination. However, potential local purchasing groups, including one that’s headed by Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly and another headed by Los Angeles bond investor Jeffrey Gundlach, are getting their ducks in a row. Gundlach is a Buffalo native who would keep the team in western New York."

I'm not worried. Everyone says that Buffalo doesn't have money and someone from LA or Toronto would outbid them. I disagree. I see Bills fans all over the world and wouldn't be surprised if there is several multi-millionaires and even some billionaires that love the team and would pay to keep them here.

Oh, plus I still think Terry Pegula will save them!

Me too, but TP's Sabres would become that much more valuable if the Bills left town.

Isn't this a old story and this is the guy who gets high all the time and keeps playboys in his office?

What are you basing the Pegula thing on?

He is a hockey fan, not football. And the money needed to buy and spend for a football team is way different than the money for a hockey team

And if he also owned the Bills, it would be a WIN, WIN.

Wrong, Terry Pegula is a big football fan actually. However, he supports the Pittsburgh Steelers. I've sure he has a soft spot for the Bills, but not sure if it's a $700 million soft spot....

Hopefully Ralph lives long enough for Mr Pegula to become a City of Buffalo Fan. If he does, he would do everything in his power to keep the Bills in Buffalo, knowing how much they mean to the people of Buffalo.

I thought he had commented on it once? I don't remember anything specific about it, but I thought he had mentioned the Bills before.

Yeah, I was always under the impression that he would be very interested. he knows how important the Bills are to Buffalo and I believe his wife is a native to the area. Buying a football team is obviously a huge investment, but if anyone has the financial capabilities to do so, it's Pegula.
