Buffalo Bills' Batten isn't taking football for granted

The guy I'm pulling for the most . I'm hoping he'll turn out to be the player I hoped Poz would be.

Batten had a decision to make. He could either go home after his surgery and start anew in 2011, or he could return to Buffalo and stay around the team and try to make something of a lost season.
It wasn't a tough call for this football junkie.

"Some guys go home, and you have that option because you're not an asset to the team anymore, but I took it as if I was playing," said Batten. "I was going to be at every meeting, every practice, be here rehabbing the shoulder, and that was one of the best decisions I ever made. The knowledge I have this year compared to last year is tenfold; knowledge is power in this league, and if you know what you're doing you can play fast."

I've been watching him as much as possible and he plays very smart.
