Easterbrook was born & raised in Buffalo.

He feels the pain and calls it like it really is.

I believe Ralph will not come close to the salary cap floor when it starts. I think he will cry poor or something or they will come up with how they can't get players to reach the floor.

He was spot on until he brought up Walker & Edwards who were both cut because they SUCKED.

Who knows who's numbers are right but the last number I was able to find was that we were $26,260,476.00 under the cap. I wonder if Ralph is pissed that we keep calling him cheap so now he is like "You want to see cheap? I'll show you cheap!!"

He has also given praise to Belicheck and the Pats for utilizing the football middle class to fill their roster with inexpensive, yet highly productive guys. And when the Bills finally do that with someone (like, oh Jackson) they're lambasted. Can't have it both ways.

Yeah he whiffed on the Edwards point but he's right about Walker and Evans.

Ybut he's right about Walker and Evans.

But you thought Walker sucked the whole time he was a Bill

keep taking other teams castoffs and backups and start them here

then develop our talent and be to cheap to extend or re-sign them then let them walk...or trade a valued player to create another whole to save a few bucks and get another 4th rd gem in return

thats how u build a super bowl contender folks

He's still better than anyone we have at G now.

And we didn't use the cap space we saved by cutting him on anyone equal or better.

I'm fine with cutting players who aren't playing up to their salaries, but if that salary isn't re-invested in the team, then cutting the guy failed to make the team better.

He nailed it with the "blame the past regime" thing.

This team has no clue it's losing fans and respect does it?

This article makes me a tad bit sick to my stomach. While I don't think it's all completely true, I do think that there is a strong basis to some truth in his words.

I do think he's finally peeled back the curtain that's been coveting Buffalo's Wizard of Loss.

This looks more and more like Ralph nourishing his family's fortune and less about the opportunity to win.

If so, this would be truly unforgiveable and near as bad, if not worse than, the antics of that dolt who packed up the old Browns franchise in the middle of the night and high-tailed it for Baltimore.

Easterbrook, to me, is full of himself, his intellect, and most importantly, his statistical conclusions are never quite grounded in actual stats.

I don't begrudge those that are fans of his, but like other Page 2 writers, he has a schtick which doesn't necessarily require factual or researched information .

agreed, plus don't wait a week before the season to cut the guy then reshuffle the OL.

If that wasn't a big enough clue, the L-O on the last guys entering the locker room might be the give away.
