He did PM someone... I can confirm he did bid $41K and did so before even putting the auction up.

He PM'd with "FA Bid" in the title... We had discussed this privately beforehand. That way, I knew it was his bid and to not open it. That way, I could bid as well.

Of course, it requires people trusting me as well, but I don't think I've done anything to make anyone think I'd cheat.

Heh, figured it'd be a bit obvious if he bid $41K and I bid $41,001...

The first time he bid, I didn't know what the PM was for, so I opened it and once I realized it was his bid, I didn't bother to send one, as I wasn't going to top his.

That's the reason I suggested him PMing me in the way he did. That way, I'd know it was his bid and I could still play, without knowing that my bid was worthless...

For the record, I think I bid the 22,500 on this one, so it's not like I was even close to his $41K.
