Any interest in TE Richard Quinn?

Was waived by Broncos with injury settlement (I'm not sure how bad his injury is). He is a former Tar Heel, so will be doubly attractive to Nix and Gailey. Was more known for blocking than receiving, but before the 2009 draft was thought to have upside as a receiver. Hasn't done much in the league...think he's worth a look at this point with the way our TE's look?

Broncos released TE Richard Quinn with an injury settlement.

He's a free agent now. A complete bust as the No. 64 overall pick in the 2009 draft, Quinn ends his Broncos career with one catch for nine yards in 29 appearances. Quinn was drafted by the Josh McDaniels regime in Denver, so it's fair to wonder if the Rams will give him a look. Current St. Louis blocking specialist Michael Hoomanawanui spends too much time on the shelf.

Not interested in yet another project. Besides TE is least of our worries and Chandler has been playing well enough.

Depending on how healthy, yes. He was supposed to be an elite blocking TE. Could help support our weak tackles.

I'm OK with who we have right now. Excluding replacements for injuries at other positions, we really should be concentrating on the o-line.

The Broncos over-drafted the guy in a big way. He only caught 12 passes in his entire college career, so it is doubtful he develops into much of a receiving threat in the NFL.

He is a big strong kid, but isn't very sudden or fast. I think the ceiling on him is a backup TE who is really an extra blocker.

I don't have strong feelings either way. It's not going to make much difference to the team. He's younger than Martin. If Buffalo thinks he might be an upgrade over someone like Martin, or they think Shawn Nelson has outlived his welcome, then I'm OK with signing him.

I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

With the way our OL needs help, I wouldn't mind keeping a guy as an "extra blocker." If we happen to keep 3 TE's - Chandler, blocker, and a receiver (Caussin or Pianalto).
