It was really fun, but I'm sure it helps that I didn't watch the first two preseason game (and that it's really the first football I've seen in months). Very enjoyable to watch our team play well.

I disagree Chris, Not to this team. A win means alot. They played to win the game in the 4th Quarter and were able to do that. They get to hold there heads high this week.

This was not just a good effort, bad result. This was a W.

our highschool JV team scrimmaged saturday... it means about the same as the bills win

Its good for the players to finally see them click a little bit. In the grand scheme it means next to nothing but good for player confidence knowing this was the biggest game of the preseason.

Give them 1-2 series on Thursday and call it a preseason.

You might be surprised. I think Detroit will surprise a lot of people this year. Detroit put a hurting on Brady with back ups.

I understand what you're saying but I felt it more important the 1st team just learn how to move the ball well and put up some points.

To me, the single most important result of the game was that Fitzpatrick seemed to regain his timing, and he was very accurate. I was surprised that it took this long to click, but very relieved because we really need for him to do well this year. Our starters won this game handily (the first half), and had we been on the loosing end of the score when all was said and done, I would not have been devastated since we pretty much owned the Jags in the first half.
