    Positives From The Game

    Enough *****ing, here's the positives..

    1. Fitz was dead on.
    2. Pay Fred Jackson - He's our RB
    3. Steve Johnson looks great.
    4. David Nelson is our slot WR, with Brad Smith backing him up. Goodbye Roscoe.
    5. Easley replaces Evans. Boobled his first catch, then looked very good after. Should have caught more, if Thigpen wasn't so brutally bad. Loved his interview later. Guy was praising him and he was pissed about the one bobble and refused praise. Humility. Smart.
    6. Starting Run D was excellent. Ran a 4-3 with Carrington starting for Kelsay and sticking his hand in the ground ( Dareus slid inside ) .
    7. LB's - Barnett, Batten, Coleman and more looked good
    8. OL didn't suck and was far better. TE's helped on Bells' side. I see no problem with Pears at all.

    You'll see the replay.

I'll add another. Chris Hairston will be very good for us in a few years. Loved that we drafted him. He looked good for not having a ton of playing time.

      9. Spiller looks like he is starting to get it & looks FAST.
      10. Elzey, I don't know who this guy is but he is a keeper.

Agreed on pretty much all your points. Fitz showed us this preseason why we label him inconsistent and average.

Let's hope this is what Easley needed - a good game.

Based on what I saw from Steve Johnson last year (especially after Evans got injured), I never really thought we'd see much drop-off from him. I think this kid can be a consistent threat for the Bills no matter who is opposite him.

I'm liking our run D, and from what I saw of the first half (didn't see all of it, just some), I'm liking our run offense too.

Only thing I disagree with is that I dont think Roscoe is going anywhere...he was (other than probably Stevie) our most consistent WR last year when healthy.

Our home uniforms are fantastic and the new field looked beatiful.

I could see Roscoe getting cut. While I Love his quickness, and ability to make people miss, he just can't stay healthy. I could see WR unit being Johnson, Easley, Nelson, Jones, Roosevelt, and Ruvell Martin. That would b a nice, big, physical unit. Everyone over 6'

FITZ does struggle with accuracy, but 2 of the games this pre season he has been almost dead on with his throws. Yesterday his throws could not have been better. I'm thinking (hoping) that he's going to have a pretty good season, provided the protections there.

Stevie and Easley both beat Mathis on a couple of plays as well. Impressive, he's supposed to be a top corner.

I will say from what I saw........

Are starting Offense and Defense are much better then last year.
Are depth is pretty bad and will take another year or 2 to get are depth were we need it.
                              The defense is very good.....
I like that we can run a 4-3 and 3-4 with no issues.

Easley Looked good tonite and finally, he could put up numbers like Stevie did last year as are #2 WR.....
Kyle Williams what do I need to really say......Guy is very good.

1 good thing NO TEAM will push around are defense anymore..........

Tyler Thigpen looked bad early again.......

Luv Brad Smith and waht he brings to this offense.

1-2 punch of Freddie and CJ will be special this year.

                              Let the opener begin............
Travel to KC and KC looks terrible so lets get a win first game and momentum is a funny thing..............
