my friend is one of the workers that is doing the renovation of the Sabres locker rm. He snapped this picture and sent me it in e-mail

it's going to be a fireplace in the locker room (probably to dry the players equipment)

new stainless steel countertops on the freshly-painted blue and gold pillars in the 100 Level (ignore the red paint; that will be replaced by gold).

the new lettering on the satellite Sabres Store location next to section 101. Another project that they are hoping to have completed in time for the regular season is the addition of beverage shelves and TV’s in the bathrooms.

That fireplace picture is all over the internet, just the part about his friend taking it is probably made up.

Normally I wouldn't care, I just think fitz beard is my favorite poster back in hiding!

I guess they painted that stupid salmon stripe around the arena and it is now gold.

Pegula has created an atmosphere which is very inviting, and also very attractive to future big name FA's. You can't tell me that when FA's visit Buffalo, that they won't be impressed.

After work the other night I got to walk on the floor of the arena and check out the paint job in the bowl.

Just took a second, looked around and thought, could this finally be the organization that we deserve?

Feels good man.
