All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

I guess we'll get a pretty good look at him, hopefully a full array of routes.
One thing I'm a little curious is that we haven't seen Fitz tried the fade route even though we've been at RZ a few times throughout the preseason. I'd think Easley would be the top candidate to try his hands there, kind of like they did when hardy was here. Maybe Gailey is hiding that play from KC for now so that they don't even know what personnel group or Easley's lineup on that kind of play.
Easley needs to play because he's missed so much time over that past two years. However, he's going to be playing with and against 2nd and 3rd teamers. I don't think he's performance tonight will tell us much.

David Nelson is the other receiver who should be effective with fade routes in the end zone, and Shawn Nelson if he can ever get on the field.
I don't expect David Nelson to run fade pattern. He and Roscoe are 3rd down specialists whoc will have more freedom in routes than normal - the key for them is to find the soft spots quickly. Nelson seems to have a knack to find those spots in a defense whereas Roscoe has unparalleled short area quickness to gain separation from anyone.
Stevie/Jones are the types to run that kind of routes. Easley has added advantage of his leaping ability which makes it ideal.
I think Troup had a TFL. In fact, when I first got on and accessed ESPN's Gamecast (it was 7-0 at that point), it said we had 5 TFL's, which sounded pretty good. Don't remember who all had them, Merriman was probably another one, someone was listed with 2.

Easley stank as a jittery rook would. Drops all across the board (except Aiken I believe). Davis made a play or two, but unless Nix has a soft spot for him, he won't make it over the other guys.
