Brown for #2 by default, but if Fitz is hurt for an extended period I'd like to see Brad Smith get a majority of the snaps at QB

Thigpen had a poor pre-season. That stated, he's far more qualified than Brown to be the backup. I will admit that Brown has looked much better than last year, but won't make the 53 man roster. Not sure if he's PS eligible or not.

That is an understatement. His accuracy has been terrible at best.

Sorry that you didn't like "poor" as the description of his play. Nevertheless, it is what it is. Thigpen is very likely the backup.

Thigpen had a lot of mental errors. Brown throws an ugly, ugly ball. Not sure I like either one, personally, though Brown looked at least halfway decent as opposed to Thigpen.

i don't care what his resume says. i thought fitz was ****ty last year when he threw his duck passes 1 out of 5 times but at least they were remotely close to the receiver. there is a reason chad henne beat out pigpen in miami. it was because he was completely awful. regardless of whether thigpen is more "qualified" because he's been in the league longer, he has shown in pre-season that he shouldn't even be on an nfl roster. i for one think what gailey said at half-time means that thigpen will be getting cut.

I'm not arguing that he has sucked. I'm simply telling you Thigpen is very likely going to the backup. If he does get cut, they will be bringing in a vet with experience. They simply aren't going into the season with Levi as the backup.
