Not even a shot at getting him to Buffalo I don't think, but what is he worth these days? Link http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...a-trade-again/

Re: Lance Briggs asks for a trade
Originally posted by justasportsfanI'd rather look for OT. Besides since he's always looking for a new contract once he's paid up front, Ralphy would need to double his Depends supply.

Originally posted by Extremebillsfan247Your not likely to find many good OT's this time of year. Most if not all of them are already set at key positions on good teams by now. That ship has already sailed.

Re: Lance Briggs asks for a trade
Originally posted by justasportsfanI agree but he's going to ask a lot , be a problem down the road and we are stacked at that position. Bills are trying to go younger which is why they signed the vets they took to short contracts.

Re: Lance Briggs asks for a trade
Originally posted by Extremebillsfan247I'm wondering still what kind of offers the Bears might get for him. He is 30 years old. But yeah, the contract thing could be a problem, at least for the Bills. His agent is Drew Rosenhaus.
Jauron would probably want him playing cover 2 over at browns.Last edited by justasportsfan; 09-02-2011, 10:04 AM.

Re: Lance Briggs asks for a trade
I love Briggs, but...
1) He is 30 and wants a new contract
2) Chicago isn't going to trade him at this point, and if they did they would want good value in return
3) Briggs has never played anything other than 4-3 OLB. Projectiing him to a 3-4 is a guess, and there is no guarantee he would be as effective a player.Last edited by Ickybaluky; 09-02-2011, 10:08 AM.
