Okay, everyone has made there final roster cuts. I know there are a lot of people here that know a lot more than I do when it comes to players around the league. So, out of ya all. Who was cut from around the NFL that you would like to see on this team?

Re: League wide cuts, Anyone out there?
Of the guys cut by the Pats today, I'd like to see DE/OLB Eric Moore find a job. He did a good job for them starting at the end of last year (after Banta-Cain was hurt) and I thought he had a good camp. In the end, I think he got hurt by them moving to a 4-3 this year, and they kept Mark Anderson over him.
Moore is a pretty big and versatile 3-4 OLB with some pass rush, and I think he can help an NFL team.
The other name was OG Thomas Austin. He is a young OG who was an undrafted FA in Minnesota a year ago, and they released him in their final cuts. The Pats signed him to their PS last year and brought him back this year in camp. I thought he showed some promise as an interior lineman, but the Pats need more of a veteran so they couldn't keep him (plus they drafted Marcus Cannon, who is on the NFI).
Austin would be a good developmental guy, he showed promise and has had some good coaching. He may not be a fit for Buffalo with their looking at big, physical OG (he is 6-4, 310#), but he is a good fit in a zone blocking team that wants lineman who can pull and get to the 2nd level. I think the Pats will make it a priority to sign him to their PS if he is not picked up by another team.

Re: League wide cuts, Anyone out there?
If there is an O-lineman with so much as a pulse, we should bring him in.
If we start the season with our current O-line (or maybe I should say 0-line), this season will be a total disaster.Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

As it is right now, we have no depth on the O-Line. I think LEVITRE is the only backup LT. There's going to have to be signings, just to fill spots, hopefully we can grab someone that's slipped under the radar.

They are stupid. They should just grab a guy like Cordaro Howard...
Waters is basically shot. I don't think he'd even be an upgrade here. Nice veteran depth but little else.

He gave up less than 1 sack last year.
Brian Waters in a wheelchair with the use of 1 arm would be better than Urbik.

Moves his feet well, doesn't usually get knocked back, holds his ground decent and actually saw some push in the run game. Even those times when a guy got behind him in pass pro, he kept after him, and usually was able to push him beyond the pocket.
I saw him really get beat badly once, against the Lions, but that was a mental error. He took the inside guy when he was covered and let an outside rusher in free.
