    Robert Eddins

Tell me about this kid. I haven't seen much of him and don't know anything about him. How has he performed? Where is he from? Why'd he go undrafted? Does he have potential? DB, I'm looking at you.

I was going to post my opinion to help you out, but apparently you'd rather read some inaccurate, unintelligent rambling instead.

      My take:

He plays fast and tough and seems to be everywhere on the field. He's rugged and can lay the lumber. I'd say his instincts would be where he needs development. He doesn't always put himself in the right position and will get stuck in traffic.

He's a younger Chris Kelsay. Decent pass rusher, with sound tackling ability. Understands his role but doesn't excel at any one aspect of the game. Decent speed, decent instincts. Good work effort.

Solid depth but likely never a starter.

He's got some speed for a LB, went to Ball State, talented but raw which is probably why he went undrafted. 6 ft 3 in, 248 lbs, runs about a 4.8 40. Played DE and some OLB at Ball St. who ran a 4-3 defense last year. He did well in TC, but really shined during preseason games, and got the notice of the Bills coaching staff. That's about all I know on him. Hope that helps.

Quick question, what does he have that Coleman doesn't? Just curious, personally I actually didn't think Coleman was all that special, but I did feel as though Gailey liked him for some reason.

They must feel Eddins has more upside down the line than Coleman?

I think it may have had a lot to do with what DB was saying about Eddins understanding his role. He played LB well, but was also a contributor on special teams which was probably the deciding factor between him and Coleman.

Hey, anything to bump Corto off the roster works for me.
