I hate them! I would rank them up there with the "slug" actually I think the "slug" is actually better than this monstrosity! :laughing: c'mon it's a Jet fighter plane with the Canadien Leaf inside a circle that's made to look like a compass pointing North.
Winnipeg already had a good set of jerseys the old "Classic" ones which are at the top. All they had to do is improve the jet in the old logo to make it look like a jet! not a dart on a dartboard! Look how well the Washington jersey turned out when they brought back their old logo.

c'mon it's a Jet fighter plane with the Canadien Leaf inside a circle that's made to look like a compass pointing North.


And to represent the royal canadian air force.

That being said, the jersey needs more red so the leaf doesn't look so out of place.

Winnipeg already had a good set of jerseys the old "Classic" ones which are at the top.

Technically those uniforms belong to the Phoenix Coyotes, since it's the same franchise.

Much like the color choice for the jersey here was based on the blues used by Atlanta.

At least they have shoulder stripes on BOTH sleeves. That makes them miles ahead of Atlanta's. Not bad, but the stripes on top of stripes is a little weird

it is perfect for them... not to mention the name of the ownership group is true north... which is what the plane is facing.... (true north strong and free....)

i really dig them, and have a few a friends in winnipeg who agree. obviously they wanted to have the old school jerseys back, but the NHL owns those

Personally I don't get the hate, nor the comparison to the slug.

I think these are miles ahead of Buffalo's slug jersey. Not bad at all for the time constraints they faced in designing
