Who will be the first Bills to go down Sunday with a season ending injury?

My money is on Merriman....

Good choice with his injury history.

I'll go with Kyle Williams. Williams has proven to be pretty durable, but he's arguably our best player and definitely our most consistent, so why not?

Bills luck will be that no one gets hurt, everyone plays well and one guy starts to be a standout. most likely spiller or dareus.

Then as we are like, "holy crap it's finally getting better" they will get hurt.

they never regain form.

Not that I would ever wish injury on anybody, but it might not be so bad if you hurt your fingers and were unable to type for the season.

If he hurt his fingers, the loss of typing ability would not be his biggest disappointment.

The Bills offense is world's better than the Notre Dame offense with Crist at QB at least.

That is worth something, right?

eh, ND's offense isn't bad. Look at the numbers they put up. They're just too stupid to avoid the big mistakes.

Though I STILL don't get how a 305 lb. man can have the mobility to play OLB... I really don't.

how does calling them stupid and saying they make big mistakes constitute "defending" them?

Extremebillsfan247

Hopefully none. If I had to guess though, It's most likely to be a lineman on either offense or defense. Statistically, defensive lineman get injured more, I'll go with Dwan Edwards.

Let's put it this way: they can at least move the ball. Yeah, it doesn't do any good if they make the big mistake and don't score, but that's leagues ahead of where I expect Buffalo to be with this **** OL. I expect them to struggle to move the ball AND make the big mistake.

actually, any rookie is probably a safe bet due to the lack of conditioning. They typically have a shortened off-season due to the transition rules from college to the NFL, and this year it was even shorter because of the lockout. Obviously, it affects every team and not just us, but I suspect conditioning is going to be a league-wide issue that particularly affects rookies this year.

Well, the lockout may be a blessing in disguise. Rookies have always been burned out in the past by the length of the NFL season. With the shortened offseason, they may do better.
