Forked from: Jerseycart.com (http://www.billszone.com/fanzone/showpost.php?postid=3510951)

Just got my jerseys in from Jerseycart.com and I'm pretty happy about them. For the low price they were advertising I figured it was worth a shot. They're obviously not really "authentic" but at $23 each I can't complain.

So I forked this because I'm going to load the thread up with pictures, and didn't want to bog down the existing thread... Please don't quote all the pictures in subsequent post, as it's just unnecessary.

I got my jerseys today, after they were shipped on 8/30. So 9 days, and that includes a holiday. Overall I'm fairly happy, but there are certainly some inherent risks in ordering things this way... Only major problems I had were that they mixed up the sizes on two of the jerseys. I ordered both a home and away Justin Verlander jersey. The home was for my father, as I already have one, the away for myself. I ordered him a 2X and myself a 3X, knowing Chinese jerseys tend to run small (more on that in a minute). They inverted the two, so I have a 2X away and a 3X home.

As for the sizes, it always gets mentioned, but for anybody considering ordering jerseys from China, absolutely order at least one size up from whatever you'd normally wear. I normally wear a 2XL because they generally are just a bit baggy on me, and that's how I prefer them. The 2XL baseball jersey I got fits, but extremely snugly. Even if I get back down 20 pounds or so to where I was before my daughter was born and I was working out 5 days a week, it's going to be a tight fit. The 3XL hockey jersey I ordered is also rather tight in comparison to the 2XL ordered from the NHL shop a few years back. These things definitely run small, and I'd say in most cases, 2 sizes larger might even be alright.

On to the craftsmanship... For the most part all 4 that I ordered were pretty solid. I got a Thurman Thomas throwback from a different site 2 years ago, and it had several little mistakes. Alright, as a whole, but if you really checked it out, you'd spot some errors. These are similar, though I'd say less mistakes on the whole. I'll detail them in the pictures below:

From a distance, it'll be hard to tell it's a knock off really, the blue is the darker blue they used for the "throwbacks" 2 seasons ago. The logo looks like it might be a bit smaller than it should be when comparing it to photos of the real thing, but everything is fairly symmetrical and looks about right.

Only thing I really noticed on this one that was off, and it's knit picking, but the letters in MILLER aren't perfectly straight, you can see here in a close up, they get a little wobbly.

This soccer jersey was the "custom" that I had to order, which cost an extra $10 to have a specific name and number put on, since they didn't have this particular player in stock. This definitely came out the best looking of the 4 I got, but the name and numbers are iron on, not stitched... Still looks like it runs small, especially the short. This is an XL, and I'm definitely glad I didn't get my brother the Large he normally wears, because it probably wouldn't have worked.

Here's the away Detroit Tigers, Justin Verlander jersey... This one definitely has some of the classic issues you'll find with Chinese jerseys, in addition to the aforementioned size mix up.

Lots of loose threads on the inside of the stitching. I'm going to have to go through and cut these off, and be extremely careful when I wash it (I only wash them after every few times I wear them anyways).

You can clearly see here that the 5 didn't get stitched down correctly the matting below it. Looks stupid when you see it real closely, fine from a distance though.

The name starts slightly lower on the left than it ends up on the right... Again, looking closely, it's noticeable, but not something you're going to spot unless you're looking for it probably.

And finally, the home Tigers, Verlander jersey for my dad. Only two minor issue sthat I noticed on this one, and it looks great otherwise.

The "D" is a bit smaller than the one on the jersey I already own

You can see it again in the closeup later, but it's more obvious here. The blue line below the MLB logo and above the name is not a smooth semicircle. It actually dips back up in the middle just a little bit...

Look good! Obviously not going to be super awesome quality but for around 30 bones or less each? Heck of a deal! I'm going to order a Miller jersey. I have a "real" authentic Miller jersey just like the one you show above and it'd be hard to tell them apart from a distance.

PS. I got the real one as a gift...still haven't had the heart to tell the giver how much she could've saved by buying me one of these..
