Why? Where does he fit? Jackson, Maclin, Avant, Smith and Riley Cooper. Personally I think he'd be a distraction to any team at the moment. However, if say Maclin isn't healthy or another team loses a top WR for an extended period of time, both T.O. and Randy Moss would be solid additions. But now? Soon? I don't think so.

In late August T.O. said he was 2-3 months from being ready to play. He had ACL reconstruction in April, and that is at least a 6 month recovery. That puts him at mid-October at the earliest to come back, and even then it will take time to be effective.

T.O. could play week one if he wanted, dude broke his leg and tore a critical ligament in his ankle and played less than 2 months later and had 122 yard in the super bowl.

I would never bet against him.

Not a chance. Owens just said in a radio interview few days ago that he would advice Desean Jackson to SIT OUT opening weekend in a boycott to get a new contract signed.... umm, why would Philly want this cancer anywhere near their team?

Except he's not 31 anymore, he's a 37 year old. He was a freak of nature, but c'mon, don't fool yourself, the dude isn't a machine.
