Before the draft, Sapp was comparing Dareus and Fairley. His comments were incredibly revealing of the high regard he has for Dareus. He simply said that Daereus had 'it' and Fairley didn't. I remember him specifically commenting that what separates the excellent DT from the adequate is the use of his hands and that Dareus instinctively uses his hands like a seasoned pro. Coming from someone who should understand these nuances, I felt it was the highest possible praise. It completely sold me on Dareus.

(By the way, if you watch Von Miller, he also is very effective in this regard.)

I used to love to listen to Sapp whenever he was on the radio in Tampa, I LOVE him on NFL Network.

My love for listening to him is so strong I will even put up with having to hear Michael Irvin & Marshall Faulk.
