Their roles are completely different:

Sanchez is about keeping the offense moving, not making mistakes, & taking his shots which he's good at.

Fitz spreads the ball around, throws his WR open, & overall creates an offense.

Fitz is better now, Sanchez has a higher upside.

You can't count playoff wins until Fitz gets a chance in the playoffs. Unlike Fitz, Sanchez was lucky enough to end up on a better team.

eh, I'm not entirely sold on Fitz but I think we have much bigger problems to address first.

And as far as the playoff thing, you have to compare apples to apples. If Fitz went to the playoffs and choked whereas Sanchez is better in the playoffs than in the regular season, then I would have to give the nod to Sanchez. But that's not the case. Fitz has never played in a playoff game on account of being on the Bengals and then the Bills.

It's not really optimism- I'm just calling it as a see it like I always do. The only difference is that, at least for the moment, things look good instead of bad for once.

He is about to win me over.I think Sanchez is more talented. But Fitzpatrick is a smarter, more efficient game manager. I think they are about even. But, it depends on perspective because they are completely 2 different types of QB. JMO
