The Buffalo team that played yesterday is a 9+ win team. But my worries are that we won't play like that for a sustained amount of games. I think the Raiders game is a big test. Do we win a game against a beatable opponent at home or do we play down to our opponent or look ahead to New England. It's a big test and a win against the Raiders sets us up for a good look against the Pats.

That, to me, is the most amazing part. I was expecting a similar offense to last year and an improved defense. As of right now, our defense does look better, but the offense looks even more improved, and that's after adding Scott Chandler... and that's pretty much it? Think of what we could do if we got some talented OL and a stud WR.

I think our wr's are plenty good enough.

The key is Fitz and keeping him upright.

I know we've discussed this before, and I'm agreeing that OL is important. I think having a stud WR who can consistently go up and get the ball (a la Calvin Johnson, Andre Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald) would add a significant element to our offense. Steve Johnson is good, and could be a legit #1 WR, IMO, but you always look to add talent when you can.

Well, changes were made on the OL as well. Maybe not great, but at least better OL play.

Well, the OL had a whole offseason together (despite the shuffling around), but I'm pretty sure this was the same OL we finished with last season, right? Bell, Levitre, Wood, Urbik, Pears. Except Pears reportedly gained 20 pounds over the offseason. And considering the coaches' adoration for big OL, I have to believe it they told him to gain weight.

The biggest change is actually having a coach who knows wtf he's doing. Once again I'm glad I chose this user name.
