Coach Chan Gailey on Monday ruled out McGee from playing this weekend against Oakland, and says the player is expected to miss a few weeks. McGee was hurt in a 41-7 win at Kansas City on Sunday, when he pulled up and held his left hamstring immediately following Leonard Pope’s 15-yard reception. The hamstring had been bothering McGee the entire week leading up to the game.

What else is new with McGee...?

He shoulda just been cut. At this point they should just reach an injury settlement with the guy and cut ties. He's done.

It's a good thing we drafted Aaron Williams. I think this is going to be McGee's last year with the team.

And who said we didn't need CB when Patrick Peterson was still on the board?

If it were me, today would be his last day with the team. Guy can't stay healthy.

Are you serious. If you are, I will say it. We NEEDED DL help MUCH MORE than a CB which the Bills got in the 2nd rnd anyway.

Also a reason why I was holding my breath that we were resigning Florence. People didn't think resigning Drayton and/or drafting a CB was a priority...I have no clue why.

"Gawd damn cheap-ass owner! Cutting McGee was a money-saver so he could pad his pockets with more profits! How else could you explain it!!"

Oh yeah, it would just be about money when releasing a zone corner who's not good in man that apparently is made of glass now. My bad! Thanks!

In the meantime, Jabari Greer is playing well for the Saints.

Did you see the game Thursday?

Why is everyone obsessed with former players of this team.

Every one of the players for the past 10 years were part of a problem, a losing mentality that needed to blown up. I like our new team and the direction we are headed in, the past is the past.

Greer: 2(2010), 7(2009) & 6(2008) - 15 games missed 2008-2010

My 2 cents:

I'm not sure he was kept on the roster this year. Injuries, and old age.

I've always been irked that took the management 2 years to realize that in college, he was a top-level returner. Most every scouting report pointed that out. They also said that his best position was FS.

He's been a heck of a player for BUF though the years. The team and the fans definitely got their money's worth.

I guess we should get rid of Kyle Williams, Stevie Johnson, Fitz, Freddie, etc., who have been part of this 10 year mess.

If they don't perform we most certainly should.
