CB was needed. Brown was not.

Not much incentive to keep three, with the new rules:

CIN has only two - Dalton and Gradkowski. Their 3rds are wrs Caldwell and Shipley.

The Colts need a legit QB, not some practice squad guy, until Peyton Manning returns. I'd guess David Garrard goes to Indy and starts right away.

Wheatley is constantly injured...we have one of those. There aren't any CB's out there that could help us, huh?

I'm not sure there is to be honest. Look at the Giants, lost two DBs and Ross is awful as their number 2, yet they haven't made any significant moves. Hard to find CBs.

I think Indy will be in the Andrew Luck sweepstakes.

How many times do we have to yank Levi Brown's chain? I bet we signed and released him at least 3-4 times in the last 12 months.

Was just going to post something like this. Poor Levi is like a ping pong ball.

that's the way it goes... The NFL is a business so I'm told, and in business you make decisions that benefit you the best and don't give a rats ass who get affected or who's life might get shattered

That is the America I know....

What that tells me is that Levi Brown has no spine. If a former employer of mine hired me back and fired me again, I'll guarantee you I wouldn't go back to them the third time.

Levi will keep coming back, as long as his phone keeps ringing.

The truth is he needs the opportunity, and sticking on an NFL roster, even if it is PS, is better than out of the league.

I know exactly what you mean ddaryl, and I agree. Unfortunately there are so many spots on the roster. I will say this much in defense of Levi; I would rather have him on the roster than Wheatley.

This move makes even less sense now that we brought back Reginald V. Corner III.

I do agree with your sentiment about the all about me nature of the world.

Yeah, I heard guys on the PS make $5,000/week MINIMUM plus expenses. If they go active, they make much more. I heard the Pats* paid a PS player his regular salary while on the PS because they did not want him to go to another team.

How many PS guys can earn that kind of money outside of football? I doubt half of them have a degree.
