It’s safe to say the Browns are glad to have tight end Steve Heiden.
The team filled a need when it acquired Heiden in a trade just prior to the 2002 season and rewarded Heiden for his play by signing him to a two-year contract this offseason.
So far, so good.
“Signing the contract is definitely a good feeling,” Heiden said. “They wanted me to come here by trading for me, and giving me a two-year extension makes me feel good.” ...
