Longtime receiver Mel Gray brings team to Carmel Saturday to challenge Tornados.
Former Indianapolis Colts linebacker Barry Krauss vaguely remembers crossing paths with Mel Gray on the football field as players in the National Football League.
"We played back in the early '80s," Krauss said. "I think he was some kind of offensive guy I hated."
The two former NFL stars will meet on the field again Saturday -- this time as head coaches of minor league teams in the North American Football League....
