a nobody who is starting to be one of my favorites on this team. Another player who had to work his way to where he's at.

Love both these guys

our team is loaded with underdogs... and that I believe is creating a special chemistry...

was the best tackler on the team last year, and continues to be, this year. the difference is that being the best tackler on the team is an accomplishment this year.

He was a 2nd rd pick for the Falcons that started 6 games his rookie year and led all DB's on that team in tackling. He started all 16 games his 2nd season w/ 85 tackles. He was then traded to the Saints in 2006 for former 1st rd pick OT Wayne Gandy. Scott has always been a productive player, his issue was his size. He played CB at Penn St. but he's not fast enough to play CB or FS in the NFL. He's more of a SS, but it took him time to get used to the position. He's one of the reasons why I didn't want to see Whitner resigned. I remember the job he did covering Gates in that 2008 game against the Chargers.......IMO he's twice the player Whitner will ever be!

Scott's been one of the most consistent players for a couple of years now.

I'm wondering if they'll use him the same way they did last week when they put him in a LB position and took DAVIS out, at first I thought it was a bad idea because it had no success last year, but it worked out pretty good against the Chiefs.

Exactly right. Good analysis.

Wouldn't be the worst idea to spy on McFadden also.

Always dig 43, he's versatile. That wins me over. And he's by no means a no name.
