All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Re: If they were talking contract with Fitz before...
I agree. Sign him up. we don't even need Luck now if Fitz keeps this up. Draft a QB of the future in the mid rounds and a stud LT in the first and we're good.
Re: If they were talking contract with Fitz before...
It's amazing how well he is playing behind that offensive line. He gets rid of the ball so fast it makes our O-Line look much better than they really are.
Re: If they were talking contract with Fitz before...
Fits has done good these past two games.
you cant argue with two wins IN A ROW
but dont put all your eggs in the fitz basket just yet. i mean were only two games into it. and have not beaten a good team yet. were talking about two banged up teams.
would we have won if oakland had hayward-bey, huff, murphy, or a good qb?
probubly not.
fact is, fitz is doing well right now and tonight he single handedly put us in position to win a game and executed.
but again, dont forget last year against the steelers. (that was not all stevies fault)
lets see him win the majority of the clutch time games that he is put in, and see him have a winning record, and go to the playoffs.
THEN SIGN HIM.
and if he does all that then we know he is who we want for our forever qb. and we should deff pay whatever price he wants at that point.
dont jsut sign him now with a big contract because he won two easy games, and your "feeling good" about it. let him prove himself over the course of maybe 8-9 games.
but in the mean time PARTY because were UNDEFETED!!!!
a decent qb can win a fluke super bowl. but a franchise qb makes a perennial powerhouse.
