I can see our offense having a good game next week, as I am just not that impressed with NE's defense, to be honest. However, I was really not impressed with ours, so Brady and their offense is going to jog to 60 points.

Merriman needs to have a huge game. And Edwards needs to find a way to put pressure on Brady. I think it's our only chance.

Step 1.) Brady just chill's in the pocket for 7-8 seconds waiting for one of the mighty mice or Gronko's to come loose...which invariably one will, at which point there will be a completion and a nice rac for a big gain.

Step 2.) If the rac doesn't turn into a TD, repeat step 1.

The good thing is, the defense is much like ours...a work in progress with a suspect secondary. They can be scored upon. SO we have a chance if we play almost flawless on offense.

Keys to beating that Patriots offense is to have LB's who can cover TE. Play disciplined, smart, and focused. Limit mistakes, that is the number 1 defense beater for Brady and the Patriots. If you make mistakes, he will punish your defense for it. It will once again fall on the shoulders of Fitzpatrick to keep the game close enough to have a chance at an upset victory in the end. If we do that, anything can happen. JMO

I would recommend a run heavy offense & keep Pats O on bench but were not that team, were not the Jets & our D will not allow us to stay in the game. We need to be quick on offense, like today, & turn this into a track meet & hope they make a mistake or two on O.

1.Show Zone and Run Man.

2. Pressure up the Middle.

3. Disrupt timing of WR's with Jamming them at the line.

4.Zone Blitz.

5. One nice dirty hit to Tom Brady to give said mentioned a hissy fit.

6. Fans with cheater banners.

7. Loud fans

Dont compare us to Norv Turners play to stay in the game type scheme.

Turner never shows up against the Pats they always play close enough to stay in the game but never take any risks to win.

No way... we need to beat the guy. He's in the division and he's the defending MVP this team needs to learn how to beat him. I don't want the easy way out. I don't want them to have any excuses.

The only way I see us having success against Brady is to blitz the living hell out of him and get lucky, and throw him off his game. I've seen us do it to him before. But the way Campbell lit up the secondary with 3 starters out, not a chance in hell if he sits in the pocket.
