Makes sense, slot guy for a slot guy.

I like Roscoe, but I don't see this hurting us too much all in all.

Parrish wasn't much of a factor last year since he got hurt, so it doesn't feel like much of a loss, but it would have been nice to have him. Gailey at least knew how to use him.

Was expecting to see Kamar Aiken up here given Steve Johnson's injury and R Martin's dropsies.

e Bills did not follow thru with the reported contract extension.

This has to put some 2nd thought into extending Roscoe, regardless what kind of bargin we get.

Tho I'm a fan of Naaman being from the area, why not give Kamar a chance? It's gotta be one or the other.

On a side note, Roscoe was great at returns, but is so replaceable. God speed 11.

He would only be a bargain if he could actually stay healthy, which his entire history has proven that he can't. Therefore the likelihood if we extended him is that he will become extremely (possibly infinitely) expensive as opposed to being a bargain.

losing roscoe's punt return skills isn't that big of a deal as we have at least 3-4 other guys who have had success doing it.

Roosevelt makes the most sense atm. He knows the system, and has proven to be able to make some plays.
Aiken will benefit from a bit more development time, in the likely event he gets a call up at some stage.
Sensible move grabbing a guard to look at also.

One way or another, Aiken will be on the active roster soon. Martin is a terrible receiver (and I don't think the Bills are that taken by ST skills, given that we cut Corto), Johnson is hobbled, and Jones is barely adequate.

BTW, I think Roosevelt is a better WR than Jones, and will soon prove it.

Parrish is gone, how can we extend the guy now? Roosevelt looked good in preseason. May be upgrade by subtraction. Parrish was a non-factor in weeks one and two.

Parrish is in the conversation about the best punt returners in the history of the game. At one time, and after many returns, he had the best return average ever.
I'm not sure how you replace that.
The good thing is that punt returns are a relatively small part of the game.

TO has to show that he can play this year but I doubt he'd want to come back since it was the current regime that parted ways with him it be a lil demoralizing to come back here. Instead I could see him ending up in Chicago if their in the playoff hunt.

Plus he's in Korea getting stem cell treatment for an injured knee. Assuming he makes it out of there alive, I'll still pass.
