All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
This is only a test
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Saints waived RB Joique Bell.
Bell goes to make room for DE Will Smith, who is coming off suspension. With Chris Ivory appearing healthy and set to come off the PUP list in Week 7, Bell is likely done in New Orleans.

No thanks , He's already had 5 shots with four different teams and still can't find a home. These other teams obviously came to the same conclusion the Bills did initially.

Which is , he's not worth taking up a spot on the team OR practice squad that can use for more sensible depth. RBs can be had any time, so unless he was a very early round pick or the second coming of Jim Brown , it ain't happining . Bell is neither. Freddy , proved he had what it took, but he had to go thru the NFL europe ranks and Sioux City playing indoors for 2 years do it. (That and Marv's influence.)
So Sorry, I say any open spots we have ,could and should be spent where we have the need, not the want !!
" I'd try to see things from your point of view but..........there's only room up your a** for one head ! "
And this is exactly what it would come down to. I liked Bell alot, but if they wanted him, they should have gotten him before. Instead, they drafted and signed White and that was the end of that story. Even if White was injured, I'd probably prefer to bring Hall back since he's done pretty good for us also.
Bell's time came and went. He looked pretty decent, and I'm surprised nobody latched onto him, but our roster has that spot covered nicely right now and it wouldn't make any sense whatsoever to bring him in.

We have 3 DBs (Defensive Backs, not DraftBoys) on the PS. We could cut one of them, but if we do, I would rather see Antonio Coleman back (if he is still out there).
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Jan's got a fever, and the only cure is Antonio Coleman.
Bell would be a fine addition, but it just isn't in the cards.
