Jacksonville cleared a major hurdle in its Super Bowl hosting duties as it signed contracts for five cruise ships to dock there for Super Bowl XXXIX in February 2005.
The ships will provide an additional 3,617 hotel rooms, plus clubs and entertainment areas near Alltel Stadium.
The Jacksonville Super Bowl Host Committee announced that the contracts were signed Wednesday for the Radisson Seven Seas Navigator, HollandAmericas' Volendam, Zaandam and Zuiderdam, and the Carnival Miracle....
