Hopkins forced to have arthroscopic surgery Friday

Offensive tackle Brad Hopkins, who last week came under fire from Tennessee Titans coach Jeff Fisher for his attendance level during the team's offseason workout program, will have arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Friday morning.

The surgery, deemed by Fisher as "nothing serious," is designed to flush debris from the knee. Team officials said that Hopkins, who is entering his 11th season, should be fully recovered in time for the starting of training camp on July 25.

The Titans wrapped up their offseason conditioning and workout schedule on Thursday with their final practice before camp begins.
