All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
I feel as if he is being underutilized. As much as it appears that we have great WR depth, Smith is receiving threat and hasn't been used as such. Sure, I understand that Gailey wants him to be a backup QB and I don't have a problem with that, but to throw him in for just 2 marginal wildcat plays doesn't seem to be maximizing his potential.
I like Smith as a change of pace but when the Bills are putting up 30+ without him every game and Fitz and Freddie having the seasons they are having, no reason to take the ball out of their hands. Later in the year if the offense starts struggling then bring him in more and use the wildcat more often.
well, the Jets just had a guy run the Wildcat against the Raiders, he FAILED. If Smith sat on the bench all year, having him on the Bills & not the Jets WEAKENS the Jets.
No need to take anyone off the field, per se. I say line him up in the backfield with Freddie or CJ (along with SJ, DJ, and SC) and give opposing defenses something to think about.
