Apparently he's out 3-4 weeks.

Just saw that. Would be a big break for us if he did indeed miss it. Especially now, when we'll have a week's worth of game tape on Kafka. I don't like going into a game unprepared, even if the backup is significantly worse than the starter - teams have too often created game plans that help to nullify their new starter's weaknesses.

Question is, will it be Kafka or Fat Mike Vick (aka Vince Young)?

Apparently Young is almost fit.

Good for Bills! Too bad though, Vick is one of those players I would pay to see play.

I know a lot of people hate him for the dog issue, but he is a great football player, maybe not a great QB, but a tremendous player.

This schedule is getting more and more interesting.

Wishing it was Kafka as Young has more upside.

I used to respect Vick for his comeback and all, but after watching his postgame comments yesterday I have come to one conclusion...the man is and always will be scum.

Glad he's not playing. But I am going to the game, so it would be a lot more fun to make Mike Vick dog comments than Kafka metamorphosis comments or Vince Young mentally handicapped comments.

I, for one, wishing Vick would play or Vince Young would play. To me Vick still cannot read defense as well. In particular he does not anticipate like Brady or, dare I say Fitz. More or less Vick does what Big Ben does, buy some time with his feet and throw instead of taking off running. But Vick cannot take hits like big Ben.

It surely will be make it a more exciting game with Vick, and to be honest, I think we have a much more athletic front 7 than we used to be so i think we can handle him.

I just read 1-2 weeks on espn.com.

Even if he ends up playing, it will still be bothering him.

It may be quite a trial either way. Kafka could still metamorphosize into a viable threat at QB by then.

Damn....I wanted to see the Dog Killer in Buffalo. We could have chanted "Who Let the Dogs Out" and gone nuts taunting him.

Coach Andy Reid said Monday that Michael Vick has a contusion on his right hand, not a fracture.

Despite a report that Vick would be out 3-4 weeks, Reid is now calling his quarterback "day to day." He said that the hand is extremely sensitive to touch, but Vick has not been ruled out for Sunday's game against the 49ers. It sounds like Vick's status will depend on swelling and pain tolerance. Considering the injury is to his non-throwing hand, Vick may very well be able to suit up.

It appears he might not miss our game after all. However, considering the injuries he's had and will have, we probably won't know if he'll play against Buffalo until an hour before the game.

Have Dareus give him a pre-game hand shake and just crush his hand.

Would so much rather beat Philly with Vick as it would be more rewarding. You want to be the best you beat teams at their best.

Question: Who the F is Kafka?
Mike Kafka, QB from Northwestern, drafted (6th round, I want to say) in 2010. He's the third stringer, but Vince Young is also injured so he's been playing when Vick leaves with injuries.

He's a semi-mobile guy, kind of a weak arm but not a bad QB.

Good. I thought it was Franz, and I didn't want to witness his "Metamorphosis."
