"We're early in the year. We've got a lot of season ahead of us," Lewis said, according to The Associated Press. "And you know, at the end of the week when we're 2-2, there's going to be probably the other third of the league in the same situation."

I have a feeling this coming Sunday is when our Pass Rush is going to make an appearance.

I pity Andy Dalton.

...And, you know what? Had Chan Gailey said the same thing last week about the Patriots, the Pats fans would probably be laughing too...

This is a classic trap game for the Bills. Huge come from behind win against a division rival, now has to go on the road and play what looks to be an inferior team.

Don't take this one for granted.

Fun fact: When the Bills beat New England, they ended the longest winning streak that one NFL team had over another... Guess who holds the record now?

Answer: The Bills, against the Bengals... 10 games.

Cincinnati might play like they're due to break that streak... Don't overlook them.

Let's extend that streak. And here's to hoping we don't have to play them again next year...which would probably mean we finished last again.

I'm worried about this game. Has trap game written all over it for me. Coming off a big win, emotions are high. I hope Chan and crew can settle everyone down and focus on the next task.

I agree with BLeonard- classic trap game.

And, we have some flaws- most notably, the secondary and the pass rush.

The Bills are putting up a lot of points, but they're also slow. We can't take anyone for granted.

This is an important game- it would be great to go into the bye with 4 conference wins and no worse than a 4-2 record.

You're right, this is the NFL "any given Sunday" is probably the truest idiom in football.

Having said that, I highly doubt the actual team would be naive enough to overlook anyone. They haven't won anywhere near enough to get complacent. If anyone of them started to read their press clippings...I'm sure Gailey would snap them into reality.

The fact we're beating AFC teams is huge for tie-breaking purposes at the end of the season. This is our biggest game until the Jet's game in week 9.

Bills don't yet understand the concepts behind a "trap" game. Bengals are better than last year (see their win against the CLE) but if we execute, this should be a winnable game. 24-14 Bills

This is a must win game given the schedule. And Lewis really couldn't have given better locker room fodder for the Bills.

The Bills shouldn't have much problem with Cinci, but we have to execute. We played out of our minds our first road game of the season, hopefully this one is the same.

Dalton didn't look good in that game and the Bengals won because the Browns knocked Dalton out. That and a huge coverage breakdown that allowed AJ Green to go down the sideline uncovered for the game winning TD.

The Bungles are going to have to score more than 8 points to beat the BILLS. I'm not positive, but I think the last Cincy QB to beat the BILLS was BOOMER ESIASON in 1988. GO BILLS.

That is correct. Boomer beat the Bills in the regular season and the post-season that year, and the Bengals have not beaten the Bills since.

I know this could be a trap game, but the Bengals are AWFUL this year.

Bills could easily hang 50 points on them this week.

U hit this 1 perfect.
I will not even go close to this game.
TRAP game written all over it.....
I dont like the fact that the BILLS are only favored by a FG......
Whole country will be on the Bills then we all know what happens after that......

Lets hope for 4-0...

Gailey said that he expects the Bills to go undefeated.

After the last 11 years, I worry about every game. This winning thing is pretty new to us, particularly considering that our few good starts in the 2000s were followed by heart break.

I will not take for granted any game this year.

As much as I expect to win this game it has all the makings of a let down game.

this team has to be emotionally and physically drained from the 1st 3 weeks... now we are on the road against an opponent with everything to prove

this is yet another place for Chan to shine as a coach making sure his team is keeping their heads in it all week and not getting sucked into the media hype... It's another chance for this team to prove they aren't the Bills of yesterday

Looks like Vegas thinks it's a trap game also, Bills -3.5. Seems a lot low, Bengals aren't exactly lighting up the scoreboard.

He has to say something, and considering he is probably going to get ****canned soon enough, why not say his team is going to turn it around.

The Bills were 4-12 last year, and are like the Island of Misfit Toys. They have won their last two games in the final seconds. Cincinnati is Fitzy's old team, and we played a big game there last year.

Do you guys really think this team is going to put it on cruise-control now? I don't think this team will look past anybody.

If I am to believe Chan, he wont let that happen. Based on everything he has said so far, 3-0 means nothing if you don't make the playoffs and then championship.

I don't fault Lewis. There are plenty of people around who still don't take us seriously. Not to mention that Cincinnati could beat the Bills if they get the bounces. This is a game the Bills should win, but "should" never gets the W.

Not to mention he's trying an attitude adjustment for his team just like Gailey has done for Buffalo.

EVERY HC will say his team is going to win the game, even when facing the Super Bowl Champs. You have to have that mentality if you want to be in the NFL.

Funny is I felt that way after 2008 but I do not feel this way with this team and this coach.

this is different and you can easily tell. Fitz sees the filed. he isn't winging it, he isn't getting lucky (well sometimes he does but don't they all) he knows and feels it and it shows. Gailey has made adjustments in so many games for us and they have been good ones. Gameday play calling and game planning in general has been superb by Coach Gailey

Barring massive injuries this team is 100% capable of making the playoffs.

I do not share the season based worries some of you do at all.. Now I'm not sure how far these guys will go, but my expectation for this season are already better then what I felt they could be back in August, and for me there is no reason to over worry.. this team is better, getting better, and will be better then teams of the last decade.. I'm POSITIVE of that

After the way that Chan has been coaching these last 3 weeks, I doubt that he is going to let this team fall into the "trap".

i just think the bills defense is amped up to prove they aren't the team who gives up 30+ points routinely.

They know that blitzing a young QB can be more disruptive than brady. so they can throw everything at him. i don't think they have the receiver-QB chemistry where leaving the bills CB's 1 on 1 will be a big problem.

It has the makings of a trap game, but the bills know they haven't **** kicked everyone aside and feel too big for their breeches. they know people still think they are a joke. and this is a great game to keep proving the skeptics wrong.
