    Andy Levitre

is having a monster season so far.

I just saw a clip on NFLN of one of Jackson's big runs from Sunday's game against the Patriots. Levitre helped Bell with Wilfork, then came off of him and buried Jerod Mayo on the same play.

I know it's just one play, but the guy's been doing stuff like this all season.

Well, so has Wood. He has been keeping the BIG NT's at bay.

The entire o-line has been oustanding. They've been a very pleasant surprise.

Also, while we are calling out great blocks, how about McIntyre on Jackson's 1 yard TD run Sunday? He drilled a DT allowing Jackson to get in.

I've posted in several threads that no NFL OL has been as dominant as he has these first 3 weeks.

Fred Jackson is making a career out of running off this guys hip, as he moves out someone to open a huge hole.

Levitre took on straight bull rush from a Patriots LB who timed his blitz perfectly at the snap. It was a big enough impact to bend his upper body back and he barely gave up a step. My jaw dropped on that play.

that was an awesome block the Lineman didnt even know what hit him, but McIntyre has a history of leveling guys with the lead block

Rinehart plowed down his man as well on that play.

Pears and Bell have also been very solid in pass protection from what I've seen. Much stronger than I anticipated.

What's even more impressive is that Pears and Bell haven't had a ton of help. The Bills have gone empty backfield quite a bit leaving the tackles without help. Fitz does help make the line better by getting rid of the ball, but the line has been great. Lets hope they can keep it up.

It will be interesting to see how this line holds up against good to great Dlines in Cinci, Philly, Giants, and the Jets blitzing style.

can't wait to see what Fitz can do when they blitz him either.

Didn't "they" say the Raiders had a great D-line?

They do. You can ask Sanchez & the Jets.

edit: I knew they had hit Sanchez, but just learned today they broke his nose.

Knock on Wood. I always felt that we have adequate O-Line, just no depth at all. We are lucky the only injury so far is at G position where we have depth and it is a short term injury.

How about Bell? It looked like he was adequate at LT, If not spectacular. He seemed like he did really well in run blocking...road grading *****es.

He needs to get a little nastier in Pass Blocking though. Finish the block, he seems to release to quickly.
