Former New York Giants (http://topics.bloomberg.com/new-york-giants/) running back Tiki Barber and Super Bowl-winning coach Bill Cowher are among the first-year candidates eligible for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame (http://www.profootballhof.com/default.aspx).
Wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson, quarterback Drew Bledsoe and offensive lineman Will Shields are among the other former players nominated for the first time.
Pretty weak class for first-time eligibles, IMO...Reed, Carter and Brown should be givens, and please for the love of the football gods put Ray Guy in where he belongs.
