    Bengals prep for spread

Perception and reality can be as dizzying as the wave of formations and receivers the Bills use to soak defenses while rolling up an NFL-best 38 points per game.

For one thing when the lone AFC unbeaten team comes into Paul Brown Stadium on Sunday (1 p.m.-ESPN 1530), it will face a completely different Bengals secondary than the one Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick microwaved for 35 points in the second half back in November. It will be an unveiling of sorts because the reserve Bengals cornerbacks have barely played the first few weeks compared to the minutes they’ll log Sunday.

I think this will be the game where the Bills show why they brought Brad Smith to Buffalo. Just a feeling. He's probably going to have a big game.

Good luck with relying on reserves to stop the Bills passing attack. Jennings was a stiff in Seattle, that's why they got rid of him.

I think it's really interesting we're getting all this spread pub with only 3, arguably 2, legitimate WRs.

        Gailey's doing a lot w/ a little.

I have a feeling about this also. We really have not done alot with BS, but when we do it will be a surprise for the Bungles.

What exactly are you guys expecting out of Brad Smith?

He's converted every short third down conversion out of the wildcat... and outside busting a kick return or a big play out of the wildcat, how exactly are we going to unleash him?

Not knocking the guy, I'm perfectly content with him having a 100% 3rd and short conversion percentage.

Me too, to me they have already unleashed him... keeping drives alive by converting 3rd downs is why we brought him here and it has worked like a charm thus far.

Probably the most over-looked aspect of the 3-0 start.
