David Nelson & Roswell Park
Bills receiver David Nelson is a spokesman for Roswell Park Cancer Institute due to personal experience. Nelson's father, Roy, was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2007. He had surgery in Florida, and the cancer was put into remission. Late last summer, the prostate cancer returned.
"One of the trainers here told me they have a great hospital here for that kind of stuff," David Nelson said. "I told my dad to pack up and move up here. He went to Roswell for a consultation."
Roy Nelson got treatment in Buffalo and the cancer is back in remission. "He's doing great," David said. "They helped him catch it and gave him tremendous resources."
