Night Train

Raiders - 35 Points, 26 1st Downs, 454 Yards

Pats - 31 Points, 30 1st Downs, 495 Yards

Bengals - 23 Points, 25 1st Downs, 458 Yards

Opportunistic D plays didn't bail them out this week. I'm sensing a pattern unless something changes.

George Edwards will have lots of questions this week.

35, 31, 23. I see the trend, and it's a good thing.

The defense ran out of luck. They are really struggling the last 3 weeks and adjustments must be made if they expect to win in the near future. You could see the result coming most of the 2nd half, just hoping the Bengals would make a killer turnover. It's not a surprise and people basically are wearing blinders to this until today.

No pressure on QB. Merriman is clearly not doing what he is being paid to do. Just does fall on him either. The only consistent thing about this defense is McKelvin. He sucks every week.

This team needs 3 players on Defense. The rest of the guys while not elite talents are serviceable and good enough to win.

We need an elite cover corner. Still wish we drafted Patrick Peterson over Dareus. Good Dlineman are easy to come by, shutdown corners not so much.

We need a top tier MLB. Barnett and Davis are both serviceable but nothing special.

And we desperately need a pass rusher.
