I'm not sure you can say they suck because they are playing against an NHL team. NHL is the best league in the world, they should beat any team from another league...easily.

I wonder how the Rangers got drubbed yesterday


Manheim's only NHL caliber player was the Goalie - Fred Braithwaite. He was a backup for bad teams

Just got home from the game. Mannheim just played it's 3rd game in 5 days and looked lethargic. Not that it would have mattered as Buffalo wasn't playing hard at all. No fights, no hard hits. But the arena was rocking and there were actually a LOT of Sabres fans there. Not sure where they came from bit know that we represent world wide! Lots of Hecht jerseys.

the NHL is crying about making the game more competitive! we all have heard about get rid of the fighting, get rid of checking, make the nets bigger, make the goalie gear smaller. yadda, yadda, yadda! Well Mr. Commissioner Gary Bettman it's time to make the ice wider even if it means ripping out a few seats. The First Niagata Center holds 18.690 for hockey games the Aud held 18,000 ripping out three or four rows of seats wouldn't make that much of a difference. You saw it today at the game and you saw it in the Olympics last season. I don't care what those dinosaurs like Don Cherry says it's time for the NHL to do this!

I thought the AUD was like 15k

Well for one thing the AUD had a smaller ice surface than even the FNC.

**** international hockey. NHL is just fine to me.
